All three shops offer full spa services along with complete salon services in a unique ambiance. DiDario’s setting is an early Victorian farmhouse; Eden in Duck has a south of the border flair while Eden in Corolla was developed using principles of Feng Shui offering an eastern flair. The Corolla shop is an Aveda Concept salon offering the full range of Aveda earth friendly products. so Eden Day Spas/DiDario Salon’s Mission Statement Eden Spa has one main goal; to provide excellence in all aspects of salon and spa services. The proprietor, Mary C. DiDario is determined that all who come to one of her salons will walk out pleased and delighted. Every trained practitioner works as part of the team to fulfill this objective. There is ongoing training to ensure that each associate stays at the cutting edge of their field. The cosmetologists, massage therapists, estheticians and nail technicians all have the background necessary to be leaders in their field. There is an image of the original Eden as a beautiful garden where all things existed in harmony. When Mary DiDario named her first shop in Duck, “Eden”, that was how she envisioned it. She wanted to create an atmosphere where people could come in and get refreshed and rejuvenated. This remains her commitment to all who come in and utilize the services. Whether it’s a new hair-do, facial, pedicure or a complete spa service there is total commitment to the client. Only the finest products are used and the personnel are all uniquely qualified to provide excellence in services. This goal was expanded and enhanced for the new shop in Corolla. Eden Day Spa and Salon is housed in the courtyard of the Monterey Plaza complex. Mary blended east and west to design a unique atmosphere soothing to the senses. The choice to become an Aveda Concept Salon was based on many factors; paramount being that the Aveda Company uses the most natural ingredients with no harmful chemical additives ever. With three salons, no matter the choice, excellence is always the goal. Each shop has its own theme. DiDario’s in Currituck is housed in an old farmhouse and is Victorian in design. Eden in Duck has the low country feel of a beach community while Corolla’s design uses Feng Shui principles to bring harmony into all aspects of the environment. The newest establishment is decorated in earth tones. Soft music plays in the background while flowing fountains soothe the ear with the rippling sound of water falling. Comfortable couches in the relaxation room enhance the quiet time between treatments. People come to the Outer Banks from all over the country to celebrate special life passages. No matter what the special event is; whether it is a wedding, an anniversary, a birthday, holiday or family reunion the team of highly trained professionals always do their utmost to provide satisfaction. Mary wants everyone who comes to Eden to walk out feeling good. Satisfied clients are always the best advertisement, and the goal is to always strive to be the best. Great today and even better tomorrow!
